No more monkeys

It has been a while since I have posted So Im going to start at Eddies big transition. It started some time in Sept. Baby Eddie decided he was not a baby anymore, and he would not be confined to a "baby crib". So, he took it upon himself to get out! It was the strangest thing. It was about 8pm on a Tuesday night both kids were in bed and I was watching TV in our room. All of the sudden I hear the pitter patter of little feet, I'm expecting to see Tatum come around the corner. What do I see? Baby Eddie, blankie, bunny and sippy cup in hand. And he looks at me with the cutest grin and says "hi" I could not possibly be mad at this cute little boy. So I picked him up and put him back in his crib, left the room and no more then 2 min. later there he is back in my doorway. I tried everything to get him to stay in his crib. Nothing was working, so I turned his bed into a toddler bed. That then became a whole other battle (keeping him in his room) this all went on for about a month. Until finally I had it. I greased the door knob (with Vaseline) and wow just like that he didn't come out of his room anymore! Now he is back to sleeping like a little angel in his big boy bed! Desperate times call for desperate measures! I know what some of you may be thinking. "why didn't I just put those door knob things on the door knob?" Because baby Eddie has figured out how to un-baby proof everything I have baby proofed!!
