Tatum

Now for an update on Tatum!! The busiest 2nd grader on the block! She has started volleyball. And she loves it. Right now because they are so young and small. They are just learning the basics of serving etc. They keep the net the same size and that is pretty high for some of the girls. But they still have fun and they have a great coach she is super positive and really encourages the girls and makes them feel good about how they are doing. Last weekend Tatum was able to get one of her serves over the net. She was so proud of herself,as was I! Its so great to see her playing sports and having fun! This weekend she is at space camp. Yes, I said space camp,and I mean space camp like in Houston at NASA! She was soo excited on Sat. morning she woke up at 5:30am, they were not leaving until 10am. She went with her Girl scout group. She comes back tonight. I will post more about her fun adventure with the space ships when she gets back.

On the school front: Tatum is loving second grade. She got her 1st report card, all A's and one B. She is doing great in reading. She reads on a 3rd grade reading level. We are working on math she is a little under developed , but she is catching on real quick. She loves to say "mommy I know what 12 million plus 12 million is" and she will give me the right answer. She just needed a little more help. They took a bench mark test last week ( to see where everyone is) and out of all of the class only 3 kids got 100 and Tautm was one of them. She really is very smart!
