Friday was Field day at Tatum's school. She had so much fun. Baby Eddie and I were able to go up to the school around 9am. As soon as we got there we see Tatum and it is "snack time" The PTA was selling snacks which means candy, coke and all things bad for you! I didn't have any cash to give Tatum in the morning before she left for school. I promised her I would bring some when I came to the school. And of course I forgot! She was so upset, so I went and scraped up a dollar in quarters for her so she was able to get a ring pop and a Gatorade! After snack time all of the 1st grade classes went outside to have a hula hoop contest. It was so cute to see all of the first graders hula hooping. they were actually really good. Field day is put on by PTA and the P.E. teachers. All of the stations were different things the kids had learned through out the year. After The hula hoops the kids got to go play on the playground for Recess. That is when baby Eddie and I went home for lunch and his nap. He woke up around noon so we were able to go back to the school for the rest of Field day. When we got there they were in the gym. They were dancing to songs like the YMCA, Chicken dance etc.... As soon as we heard the music baby Eddie started dancing in his stroller! He was having so much fun. then he saw his big sis and wanted to get out of the stroller. So I let him free. He immediately went to big sis and they danced. Tatum is such a good big sister she flowed him all over the gym to make sure he did not get into anything. Tatum was so excited to have him there. It was such a fun time. I'm so happy I was able to be there and see all of the things Tatum has been doing throughout the year in P.E.
